Day 14: What Am I Going To Believe About God’s Promises?

Romans 4:18, 21 NKJV - who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that He became the Father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be. Fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His Word and do what He had promised.

If we are ever going to see God's promises fulfilled in our lives, we must believe that God's Word is true. This verse is about Abraham being told by God that he would be the father of many nations. We see three actions modeled in these verses: he hoped, he believed, and he became.

God has made it simple for you to receive your breakthrough.

We must have our hope anchored in His word. When His hope settles into our hearts, it changes how we see our future. We stop seeing our situation as an obstacle, and instead see an opportunity for a miracle. Abraham had no earthly reason to hope, but he believed that God's word was proof enough.

Believing is revealed in our saying. If you are curious what you believe, listen to the words you are speaking! After God changed Abraham's name to "father of many nations," it was only a matter of time before his wife became pregnant. Why? There is power in our declaration. Begin to declare what God says more than what the situation is saying.

2 Corinthians 1:20 - For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us

God's Word is full of promises for us to believe. Take a moment to read these promises in your Bible. (Isaiah 26:3, Exodus 14:14, Joshua 24:15, Psalm 103:2-5)
