Ministries We Support

At Cornerstone, we strongly believe that a part of “Taking Jesus to Others” involves both local and international ministry.

Some of the ways that Cornerstone has helped to support our local community is through food drives for the Mid-Del Food Pantry, school supplies for neighborhood schools, Coats for Steed Elementary, Holiday baskets for our Fire and Police Departments, and a banquet for over 300 of our school teachers/leaders and their families to honor “Teacher of the Year”. Our youth are given the opportunity to participate in a mission trip each summer as well as youth and children’s camps. Small groups and ministry teams participate in “Others Day” when they go throughout our community doing micro-missions, some of which include: free garage sale, clean up or refreshments in the park, lawn care, bingo or cookout for assisted living residents, and many other great events showing the love of God to those around us.

We Also Contribute to the Following Ministries Every Month:

Feed the Children

Established in 1979, Feed the Children exists to end childhood hunger. Providing food, education initiatives, essentials, and disaster response as they help children and their families be independent and self-reliant.

RHEMA Bible Training Center

For more than 40 years, Rhema has trained over 70,000 men and women to find and fulfill God’s plan for their lives. Discovering what God has for them helps them to live a life that makes a difference in the world.

G.U.U.M's vision is to live and lead in a world where people in the urban core are united to minister to one another's needs; decayed neighborhoods are restored; and the homeless are re-homed, while released offenders are reintegrated into normal society. It is a world where the grace of God is lived out in a way that empowers people to live whole again.
