Day 9: The Power of the Cross in Daily Prayer
The bronze altar in the Tabernacle reminds us of the greatest sacrifice ever made.
Jesus willingly gave His life so we could experience forgiveness, freedom, healing, and eternal life.
The cross changes everything.
Because of the cross:
We are forgiven.
We are redeemed.
We are reconciled to God.
We are adopted into His family.
We have direct access to God's presence.
Prayer becomes powerful when we remember what Jesus accomplished.
Many believers spend their lives trying to earn God's approval. The cross reminds us that approval was already purchased through Christ.
Today, spend time reflecting on the sacrifice of Jesus.
Consider the price He paid so you could confidently approach God.
Whether you're praying from Midwest City, Oklahoma City, Del City, Choctaw, or anywhere in Oklahoma, you never approach God based on your performance.
You approach Him through Jesus.

Hebrews 4:16
