Connect Groups

You don’t have to follow Jesus by yourself.

Community

Why Connect Groups?

One of the ways God designed us to live is to have people in our lives to help us in the journey. Connect Groups give you a practical, enjoyable way to find that kind of life-changing community — real people, real conversation, real growth.

What to expect

What Happens in a Connect Group?

Every group looks a little different, but the heart is the same: real conversation around Scripture, honest prayer for what you’re walking through, and food and fellowship that make it feel less like a meeting and more like family.

Groups like Bling (women’s) and Man School (men’s) are two of Cornerstone’s Connect Groups — and there are many more built around life stage, interest, and neighborhood.

Micro-Outreaches

Serving Together Through Micro-Outreaches

Each semester, we ask every Connect Group to complete one micro-outreach to our community. It might be mowing a neighbor’s lawn, serving at a homeless shelter, or helping someone in need.

Small acts of love, done by many groups across the year, let Cornerstone reach more of Midwest City. Faith grows when we put it into action together.

Seasons

When Do Connect Groups Meet?

Good to know

Common Questions about Connect Groups

Do I need to know someone to join a Connect Group?

Not at all. Connect Groups are one of the easiest ways to meet people at Cornerstone — most people who join don’t know anyone else in the group beforehand.

How long do Connect Groups run?

Groups run in seasons, generally September–November and February–April, so it’s always a great time to jump in.

Can I lead a Connect Group?

Yes! We’re always looking for people willing to open their homes and lead. Reach out through the Dream Team and our team will walk you through what leading a group looks like.

What is a micro-outreach?

A micro-outreach is a simple act of service your Connect Group does together for the community, such as mowing someone’s lawn, serving at a homeless shelter, or helping a person in need. We ask each group to do one per semester.
