Cornerstone Church · Midwest City, OK
Church isn’t canceled.
Church has been deployed.
On Sunday, September 6, we’re trading our normal service for a whole city full of them. Meet at the church at 8:30 AM for a quick rally, then head out to serve by 9:00 AM.
Team sign-ups for serving open August 16 — the button above will take you to the sign-up hub once it’s live.

We Deploy
No service at our building this week. Meet us at the church at 8:30 AM for a quick rally, then head to your outreach site ready to serve by 9:00 AM.
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:32Every volunteer receives a 4:32 wristband to wear — and give away — throughout the day. It’s a simple reminder that kindness reflects the heart of Christ.
Already Underway
Six outreaches. One church.
A few outreach projects are already coming together for September 6. Anyone can join or help lead any of these — you don’t have to be part of a specific ministry to jump in:
Grace United Urban Ministries
A community outreach project in partnership with Grace United Urban Ministries.
Autumn House Retirement Center
Leading a short service, playing games, tackling facility projects, and encouraging residents.
Local Police & Fire Departments
Preparing appreciation bags and encouragement gifts for our local police and fire departments.
Mid-Del Youth Shelter
Landscaping, organizing storage, and stocking the snack pantry.
City Care
Partnering alongside an existing City Care community outreach.
Two Widows on Richardson Avenue
Providing yard work, home help, and encouragement — including for a Vietnam veteran’s widow.
That’s six outreaches. We need many, many more.
Not connected to one of these yet? That’s exactly why we need you — sign up to lead your own outreach, or jump in and serve on one already planned.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to lead a project to participate?
Not at all. Most volunteers simply join a project someone else has already planned, starting August 16.
What if I miss the August 16 deadline?
That deadline is only for leading a new outreach. You can sign up to serve any time through September 5.
Can my whole family serve together?
Absolutely — many projects are great for all ages. Look for family-friendly options on the sign-up list.
What time do I need to be there?
Meet at the church at 8:30 AM for a quick rally, then head to your outreach site ready to serve by 9:00 AM.
I’ve never done anything like this — is that okay?
More than okay. Others Day is built for first-timers. You just need a willing heart.
